Hi I am a new member in respects. I have been using wordmodules.com for a few years now. But I've never communicated with anyone on here.

And I have a question on the Septuagint - Are there any other translations into English besides that of Brenton?

Also are there variations - I assume so - in the Greek text of the Septuagint? Are there different manuscripts of the Septuagint like there are of the New Testament??

I'd like to know more about this but haven't found much in Online Searches...maybe I just didn't understand what I found. :D

Are any other translations besides Brenton available for download here? I would like to see some other translations into English. :)

Thank you all very much for any info and help you can give me.

Based on the critical LXX:

https://www.amazon.c...ps%2C356&sr=8-1
https://www.amazon.c...XYVK9Y6ZDARMM93

Also are there variations - I assume so - in the Greek text of the Septuagint? Are there different manuscripts of the Septuagint like there are of the New Testament?? Yes

I'd like to know more about this but haven't found much in Online Searches...maybe I just didn't understand what I found. :D Some Orthodox Churches use a non-critical version of the LXX

Are any other translations besides Brenton available for download here? I would like to see some other translations into English. :) None since all modules here are in public domain.

Thank you all very much for any info and help you can give me.

In TheWord Modules at
http://www.theword.n...dules&l=english

There are the Apostolic bible in interlinear and also English only modules.

There is an updated Brenton called the LXX2012: Septuagint in American English 2012.
It appears to be in public domain but is not in module form.
I don't know if the versification would need to be addressed to make a module out of it.
I have other projects going right now maybe sometime I will look at it to see if it could be a module.
There should be a pdf of it to download.
