Shalom Mr. Bond and wlue777,
I want to thank you for your wonderful Bible resources. I use your resources each day as I work to correct the drafts of the Scriptures being translated in the Sepik region of Papua New Guinea.
I found a typo in Barnes' Notes just now. It reads
"The works can and could are often used in the Bible to denote the existence of such obstacles as to make a result certain, or affirming that while one thing exists, another thing cannot follow." It should read
"The words can and could are often used in the Bible to denote the existence of such obstacles as to make a result certain, or affirming that while one thing exists, another thing cannot follow." (p. 323)
From "file properties" I find:
Description: Albert Barnes' Notes on the Bible
Filename: Barnes-NotesOnBibleCommentary.cmt.twm
Identifier: Barnes-NotesOn
The Module Creator box is empty
I have a photocopy of Barnes' Notes on my computer, but I prefer to use the copy in TheWord.
Grace and peace,
Brad
