Hey, Mike,

I suspect you have other issues going on. I didn't have Gill installed (too wordy for my study habits), so I downloaded following the above instructions, and it fired right up. Here is what I would do if I were you:
  • search your entire c:\ drive for "gill" and see if there is an older version hiding somewhere, and delete it and redownload the new one using above instructions. If this doesn't solve the problem -
  • go to the official theWord forum (http://forum.theword.net/) and ask for help there
The forum at this site (wordmodules.com) is really for discussing these modules, and not for technical support. The forum at the official site will get you quick help and will almost certainly solve your issue.

You can download the John Gill commentary from within theWord software.
  • click on "Add Titles"
  • At the top right corner of the pop up window, make sure "Official theWord Repository" is selected
  • Type "Gill" in the search box
  • tick the box for the Gill Commentary
  • click the box at the bottom right of the pop up window that says "Download and Install..."
  • once the file is finished, restart theWord
That should solve your problem.

Jon,

eSword allows you to simply type this - <G4000> - and it automatically makes that a dictionary link. No other work than typing "<G4000>" necessary. What would it take to make that happen for TW? Is that something technically advanced? I wouldn't think so, because TW does so much more (especially with language) than eSword.

I think the problem is that the original poster took down his download. Jon had downloaded the file, and later in the thread reposted a download for it so it would still be available. However, it is no longer at the front of the thread, so it is harder to find.
