This module contains a series of eight lessons delivered on the Beatitudes (Matthew 5:3-12) from December 2011 to January 2012 in McLoud, Oklahoma. Each lesson is in a detailed outline form and ready to be used to preach from, if you so desire. Since the promise of each beatitude is the equivalent of salvation, we should all take a closer look at these statements from Jesus.

03 - Blessed are the meek
04 - Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness
05 - Blessed are the merciful
06 - Blessed are the pure in heart
07 - Blessed are the peacemakers
08 - Blessed are those who endure persecution
"Beatitude" comes from combining the Latin word for "happy, blessed, or joyful" - beati, with the English word attitude. Thus these are the attitudes that bring happiness, joy, or a state of being blessed.
