Currently, it includes:
The Prodigal Slave: a study in the book of Philemon
These commentaries are written in an easy-to-understand manner, but that does not mean they are shallow. The commentary on Philemon delves into Paul's condition in prison, The state of Onesimus and slavery in Rome, Philemon's status as a leader in the church, and is Philemon the "letter from Laodacea" mentioned in Colossians 4? Read through and see Paul's creative use of an inspired guilt-trip on Philemon.
From the Prologue:
"When you plan a trip, it is important to find a map so that you know what to look for on your journey. You want to make sure you have an idea of what direction you are going to take. What are the landmarks that will help you to know you are going the right way? With the advent of GPS devices, it has become exceedingly rare that people “enjoy the journey.” Instead, it is a simple, “give me what I need to know to get to my destination.”
"Unfortunately, many who read the Bible take the same approach. They just want the preacher or Bible class teacher to tell them what they need to know to get to heaven. Anything beyond that is “preaching over our heads,” or “too detailed.” As Christians, we ought to enjoy the journey as we travel through the pages of the Bible. The trip on the strait and narrow path can be enjoyed! Jesus did promise His followers “life…abundantly” (John 10:10)."
The introduction and appendices are found in the "Book" part of the commentary.
