This is a short biography (24 pages) of a preacher of the very early 1800s. He was aligned with the Baptist Church initially, but eventually went on his own, calling people to leave behind their denominational creeds, doctrines, and names and just become "Christians only." He organized a group of congregations that were frequently called "The Christian Connexion." The Connexion was later hijacked by a charismatic false teacher (William Miller of Adventist fame) and the movement died shortly after Abner Jones did.
