This is a substantial update of an eSword module converted using the TW converter tool. Besides correcting numerous errors and omissions, the readability of the text has been substantially improved with font changes and by removing the inline "footnotes" and creating them in a proper footnote style as supported by TW. Many scripture references have been converted from the prolix style of eSword to the more sparse format supported by TW. Numerous links to OT Apocrypha have been hyperlinked as well (you will need v. 1.4 of my OT Apoc. w/Additions, here). The Table of Contents, which serves as a topical outline, is hyperlinked to the text. In addition, several additional resources on Eschatology (outlined below) are included. Some of these additional resources are cited in the text, and others are included to further complement module as a useful reference for the study of NT Eschatology.

I. Reproduced here is Geerhardus Vos' review of Kennedy's book published in the Princeton Theological Review.

II. Selected works of Geerhardus Vos:

A. Vos wrote a number of the articles for the 1915 version of the International Standard Bible Encyclopedia (ISBE), several of which are particularly relevant to the present topic, including:

Kennedy often cites the various works of R. H. Charle's, who wrote the massive entry on "Eschatology" in the Cheyne and Black Encyclopaedia Bliblica. It is reproduced here in "image" format, but with a hyperlinked Table of Contents and Index to better facilitate topical browsing.
